Fire at Grenfell Tower statement 16 June 2017

We would like to once more offer our sincere condolences and appreciation to the community in North Kensington, following the tragic events at Grenfell Tower.

We understand the growing demand for answers. Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation (KCTMO) continues to play an important role in gathering all relevant information that will enable us to assist fully with investigations.

At present, however, our focus remains firmly supporting our residents, staff and local agencies throughout this incredibly distressing time.

Amongst the substantial number of dedicated helpers, our staff continue to offer vital assistance at the Family and Friends at Westway Sports Centre, led by Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea's Emergency Team.

We are extremely grateful for the invaluable efforts of the Police and Fire Brigade and will go on providing assistance to all frontline services as we seek to establish the welfare of our residents.

The Metropolitan Police Constabulary Bureau has opened a dedicated telephone line for family and friends of missing Grenfell Tower residents: 0800 0961 233

Any displaced residents in need of emergency accommodation should call the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council's Housing team on 020 7361 3008
